Enhance your expression skills in English.
TEDEd speeches require speakers to express their views and ideas in concise and concise language. Students need to express their ideas clearly within a limited time frame, which will help improve their oral and public speaking skills.
Increase knowledge of various fields
TEDEd Talk involves various themes, from science and technology to art and culture. Students will have the opportunity to be exposed to a range of different topics, thereby broadening their horizons and increasing their knowledge reserves.
Improve thinking ability
and creativity
In TEDEd Talk, speakers need to present their unique viewpoints. This requires them to constantly think and explore, seeking unique insights. This kind of training can not only cultivate children's thinking ability, but also stimulate their creativity and help them better adapt to future challenges.
Improve writing skills by writing a speech
Students can more easily grasp the topic and write the framework, logic, and sentence structure of the article. Encourage students to express their viewpoints, arguments, and examples while using writing to clearly articulate their topic, making the speech more persuasive.

We were honored to welcome Mayor of Markham, Mr. Frank Scarpitti as our special guest.
Mayor encouraged the children by saying that
-
Stepping onto the stage, thinking independently, and speaking out is a form of strength in itself.
-
Even if it’s not perfect, having the courage to speak is how experience is gained and growth begins.
-
Public speaking is not just a skill—it is a lifelong asset.
What is TEDEd?
CASG, the authorized TEDEd Student Club, is dedicated to providing a platform for students to share their opinions and in delivering TEDEd Talk speeches. We believe that every student has a unique perspective to offer, and we are committed to helping them develop their public speaking, writing, research, and critical thinking skills. Our goal is to empower students to spread their voices and make an impact in the world Join us in our mission to inspire and empower the next generation of thought leaders.

CASG Co-Founder and Principal Ms. Emily Liang recalled a moving moment during preparation, when a young girl stepped onto the stage, overwhelmed with nerves and on the verge of tears—but she chose to stay. “It was in that moment I realized,” Ms. Liang said, “they’re not just learning how to give a speech, they’re learning how to believe.”
She added: “True innovation is not just about technology, it’s about having the courage to dream, the will to act, and the hope to believe tomorrow can be better than today.” CASG continues to empower young minds and foster a community of lifelong learners—because confidence starts here.
Richmond Hill Mayor, Mr. David West sent a heartfelt video message expressing his admiration for the students’ insights and applauding the event’s significance. His continued support online brought further encouragement to all participants.
