2026 CASG Summer Camp Week6 Junior Chefs(AUG3rd-7th)
🌟 Field Trip: Visit Loblaws
This week, participants will step into the delicious world of culinary creativity, becoming “Junior Chefs” as they explore the art and science of cooking!
STEAM Exploration: Learn the chemistry behind baking, experiment with ingredient proportions, and design their own recipes while understanding how temperature, time, and texture affect taste.
Financial Literacy: Create a budget for their mini café — planning ingredient costs, menu pricing, and learning how chefs manage food expenses and profit margins.
Leadership Development: Collaborate in kitchen teams to delegate tasks, solve problems under time pressure, and practice clear communication — just like in a real restaurant!
Team Presentation: On Friday, our young chefs will host a “Mini MasterChef Showcase,” presenting their signature dishes, recipe designs, and team menu concepts for everyone to enjoy.
This week, children will discover the joy of cooking and teamwork, developing creativity, confidence, and leadership — all while having a taste of what it’s like to be a real chef! 🍳👩🍳👨🍳
